Similar to Gongju City, Jinhae City is also tourist spot and located at the south country side next to Busan. Jinhae is also home to Korea’s Naval School where the largest Cherry Blossoms Festival is celebrated every Spring. The City was filled with blooming Cherry Blossom trees on the 1st of April, even on the streets.

The 55th Jinhae Gunhangje Festival’s main activities started at the Jungwon Rotary sorounded by a lot of stalls and good places to eat.
Tourist information Centers are scattered all over the City, where you can get promotional materials to guide you to your next destination.
A lot of families came and appreciate the beauty of Cherry Blossom trees in this week long festival. Also nearby the Yeojwacheon (Stream) and Romance Bridge is the Jinhae NFRDI Environment Eco-Park, where the kids can also enjoy a stroll inside the park.
At the Bukwon Rotary, you can find the Statue of Admiral Yi Sun-sin.
Doing a little background check using Wikipedia, Admiral Yi Sun-sin (Hunminjeongeum: 이순신; Hanja: 李舜臣; April 28, 1545 – December 16, 1598) was a Korean naval commander, famed for his victories against the Japanese navy during the Imjin war in the Joseon Dynasty, and is well-respected for his exemplary conduct on and off the battlefield not only by Koreans, but by Japanese admirals as well.
Admiral Yi is remembered for his numerous victories fighting the Japanese during the Japanese invasions of Korea (1592–1598). Among his twenty-three victories, the Battle of Myeongnyang and the Battle of Hansan Island are the most famous battles.
